The Final Tally: What Happens to Campaign Signs After Election Day?

Well, I picked up most of my campaign signs and even another candidate’s the day after the election on November 5th. I thought everything was wrapped up until I got a message that one of my signs was still out there somewhere.

If you happen to see any of my signs around McDonough, please let me know so I can pick them up.

When we did our final count, we discovered that over 50 of my signs were stolen during the campaign. Yes… over fifty. Not 1, not 2, 50+. It’s ridiculous.

I visited McDonough Public Works and Henry County Code Enforcement several times, called multiple times, and checked every place I could and of course, no one had seen them.

So if you see one in the woods, tucked behind a tree, on the side of the road, or anywhere it shouldn’t be, just send me a quick message. We did our best to retrieve all of our signs.

Over the coming weeks and months, I’ll be sharing more of my Tales from the Campaign Trail. This journey has been… something else. 😅

Thank you all for the continued support. The work doesn’t stop.

Let’s keep building a better McDonough, together.
