Are you as comfortable talking to people in person as you are online?

I’ve been creating content online since 2009, starting on YouTube. My daughters grew up online with me, one now has over 1 million followers on TikTok and co-founded a non-profit advocacy organization in Jacksonville, Florida that regularly brings together 1,000+ people in person. It’s the largest of its kind in the area. My other daughter has over 130k followers on TikTok herself.

For our family, being online was never a replacement for real life; it was preparation for it.

That’s also why I don’t post here as often. I genuinely enjoy meeting people out in the community. If you see me, please say hi, I’d love to connect.

You may notice I don’t post frequent updates on Facebook, and that’s intentional. I’m not very active on social media in that way. For timely community updates, I always encourage people to follow McDonough and Henry County directly.

If you’re looking for more neighborhood-level conversation, I’m much more active on Nextdoor and of course, I always enjoy connecting in person when our paths cross. I never meet a stranger!
