Feeding the Mind and Spirit: How I Stay Grounded for the Journey Ahead
I live with the belief that if you don’t wake up each day intentionally pursuing greatness, it’s very hard to become great.
Because of that, I try to feed my mind and spirit every single day. Sometimes that means reading The Greatness Guide by Robin Sharma, just one or two pages, one lesson for the day. There are 101 lessons, so you can rinse and repeat. Much like listening to an album, different lessons hit differently depending on the season you’re in.
Other days, it looks like reading the Book of Psalms, listening to gospel music, or tuning into a spiritual teaching that keeps me grounded and centered.
As I was preparing for my campaign, these daily practices helped me stay focused and clear. And now, as I prepare for my next and best step, continuing to fulfill my purpose, I’m leaning into these habits even more.
💭 What do you do each day to help you show up as the best version of yourself?
