From New Arrivals to Longtime Neighbors: What Makes McDonough Special

Y’all… I traveled recently to go see my new grandbaby, sweet granddaughter and family. My dog, Frida, came along for the ride. Let me just say, she was absolutely no help at all. 😂 She slept the entire trip.

As we were driving, it got me thinking about how many newer residents I met along the campaign trail. So many people shared that they moved here for work, family, schools, affordability, or simply a better quality of life and for many, McDonough has become home.

McDonough is made up of people from so many different places, backgrounds, and stories and that’s what makes our community special.
