Getting a little walk in with Frida this morning before the big family meal!

While walking, I kept thinking about all the neighbors I met on the campaign trail who shared that they don’t have family or close friends here. If that’s you, I hope you remember this: you can create your own community. Be friendly, be intentional, be open to new relationships, that’s exactly what I did when I moved to McDonough four years ago.

As I spend the next few weeks with my family waiting on our new grandbaby, I’m wishing you joy, peace, and a sense of belonging today.
