Exploring Henry County’s Educational Landscape: Insights from Leadership Day

Today’s Education Day gave us an incredible look into the diverse educational landscape of Henry County. From early learning to higher education, we explored how each institution plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders.

Our visits included:
• Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy
• Henry County Schools – Birch Creek Elementary School, Academy for Advanced Studies, and McDonough Middle School
• Southern Crescent Technical College

Each stop provided valuable insights into the innovative programs, passionate educators, and opportunities that exist right here in our community.

As part of Leadership Henry, we’re not just learning about our county , we’re learning from it. The program is designed to prepare and connect leaders from diverse backgrounds who are committed to addressing community challenges and improving the quality of life in Henry County.

This 10-month journey covers everything from history and government to healthcare and human services and through it all, we’re reminded that true leadership begins with understanding. 🌟
