We Don’t Lose, We Learn: Proud of the Progress We Made
🔥 We Made History, McDonough!
💬 Montina’s McDonough Moment
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This election was truly historic. Out of 5,090 people who showed up to vote, 2,146 — or 43% — cast their ballots for me. The incumbent only won by 612 votes, and I can proudly say — they had to work for every single one.

I moved to McDonough in 2021 and got involved in 2023. In less than two years, we built a grassroots campaign fueled by integrity, transparency, and heart and together, we earned the trust of nearly half the voters in our city. That’s no small feat.
To everyone who voted, volunteered, prayed, donated, encouraged, and believed — thank you.
This campaign has been one of the most challenging and humbling experiences of my life. While the results weren’t what we hoped for, I’m not completely surprised. It’s tough to beat an incumbent and this was their third campaign. I’m incredibly proud of the race we ran — one rooted in integrity, service, truth, and love for the entire community.
We reached thousands of voters, sparked meaningful conversations, and inspired new people to get involved. That’s impact. That’s how change begins.
To my amazing supporters and team — you showed up with faith, passion, and purpose. I’m so proud of what we built together.
This isn’t the end. It’s part of the journey.
I didn’t run just to win — I ran to work and that work continues.
We don’t lose, we learn.
💬 I’d love to hear from you.
