From the Taj Mahal to Election Day: Reflecting on Vision, Legacy, and the Leap of Faith

A year ago, I stood at one of the most breathtaking wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love, vision, and legacy. Now, I’m 18 days away from something equally monumental in my own life: Election Day.

Running for office is something only about 1% of Americans ever do. It’s not easy, yet it’s worth it because stepping out in faith always is.

Every I’ve hosted, every conversation I’ve had, every late night and early morning, it’s all been part of a journey far bigger than me. Whether the outcome brings a win or a new beginning, I know this: I leapt, and I soared.

To anyone standing on the edge of your next chapter — take the leap. Believe in your calling. Trust that what’s ahead is even greater than what’s behind.

Let’s build a better McDonough, together. 🌺
