Kindness With Strength: Why My Campaign Won’t Sugarcoat

Kindness With Strength 🌺

If you support me, my campaign, or have already decided I’ve earned your vote — thank you. Your faith means everything. But with that comes responsibility.

Campaigns can get heated. Opinions run strong. People feel hurt. I understand that passion is a key part of this process.

I’ve seen things said about me that were harsh. Maybe people don’t agree with me. Maybe they misunderstand. Maybe they just don’t like me for reasons I’ll never know. But what I don’t want is for this campaign to become about tearing people down.

Don’t Get It Twisted

– Kindness isn’t optional. If you represent Montina for McDonough or Citizens for McDonough, you represent McDonough. Treat people with respect, even those who disagree.
– I can hold my own. I am for everyone, but everyone is not always right. I will call out bad behavior when I see it.
– I won’t sugarcoat. My mission isn’t to pretend conflict doesn’t exist. It’s to serve this community with honesty, strength, and grace.
– I won’t stay on defense. My focus is on serving, not sparring.

Why It Matters

Public service should be just that: service.

It means putting people first: not ego, not negativity, not revenge. It means showing strength through respect. And it means building a campaign that uplifts, not divides.

A Call to My Supporters

– Lead with kindness.
– Call out bad behavior when needed, but do it with grace.
– Remember why we’re here: to serve this community and build a better McDonough, together.

Campaigns end. Elections are temporary. But how we treat one another leaves a legacy.

Let’s be kind. Let’s be strong. Let’s serve.
