I-75 Truck Lanes Project: Your Input Matters
I couldn’t attend the GDOT Public Hearing Open House in person, so I joined the virtual meeting room, reviewed the handouts and fact sheet, and submitted my comments. 🚧
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is moving forward with a proposed project to add two northbound truck-only lanes on I-75 — stretching approximately 41 miles from the I-75/I-475 split in Monroe County to SR 20 in Henry County.
The goal is to separate heavy truck traffic from regular traffic to:
✔️ Improve safety
✔️ Reduce congestion
✔️ Improve travel efficiency
Whether you support the project, have concerns, or simply want to stay informed, this is an opportunity to review the plans and make your voice heard.
