What Does “Non-Partisan” Really Mean?

I’m running for McDonough City Council At-Large, which is a non-partisan seat. But what does that actually mean?

Non-partisan means this race isn’t about political parties—it’s about people.

• There’s no Democrat or Republican label next to my name on the ballot.

• My focus is on local issues that affect our everyday lives—like city services, community growth, small businesses, infrastructure, and public safety.

• I’m here to listen to all residents, no matter your background, beliefs, or political views.

City Council members serve the entire community, and as an At-Large candidate, I’m running to represent all of McDonough—not just one district.
